Casino Etiquette for First-Timers: What Nobody Tells You
Your first time on a gaming floor shouldn't feel like an exam. The unwritten rules, explained by the people who run ours.

Every regular on our floor had a first night. The dealers are kinder than you think, and half the 'rules' are just common sense wearing a bow tie. Here's the short version.
Buy in properly
Cash goes on the table between hands — never hand it to the dealer directly. For the machines, your player card (if you have one) loads at the cashier cage or any kiosk.
Learn one game first
Blackjack is the friendliest start — the table will literally help you. Roulette needs zero knowledge: chips on numbers, dealer does the rest. Watch a couple of rounds before sitting; nobody minds.
The unwritten bits
Touch your own chips, not other people's. Phones stay off the felt — step back to take a call. Tipping the dealer on a good win isn't mandatory but it's appreciated (a chip on top of your bet does it). And set your limit before you sit down, not after — the VIP host service builds limits into the evening for exactly this reason.

18+ and ID, always
The floor is adults-only and ID is checked — bring your licence or passport even if you haven't been carded in years. And if gambling stops being fun, the duty manager can set up self-exclusion in five minutes, no judgement attached.
